AboutSir Percival (パーシヴァル Pāshivaru) is the alternate reality counterpart of Blaze the Cat from the world of Camelot. She is the only female member of the Knights of the Round Table, and is known as the Knight of the Grail. She wields the Sacred Sword Laevatein.
HistoryPercival, along with her fellow knights, Lancelot and Gawain, was sent by King Arthur to eliminate Sonic the Hedgehog when he arrived into their world. Percival was the last knight Sonic fought. After their fight, she fell from a high cliff, and Sonic and Caliburn saved her in time. She was then impressed by Sonic's kindness and effort, and even blushed at his chivalry. Sonic's defeat of Percival is what finally earned him Caliburn's respect and the official title of "Knight of the Wind".
After King Arthur turned out to be an illusion created by Merlin years ago and that it was all a plot orchestrated by Merlina, Percival went off to put her sword in the shrine. She thought Sonic was joking at first when he explained his plan, but when she saw he meant what he said, she bid him good luck. After the four swords formed a barrier around the castle and Sonic defeated Merlina, Caliburn revealed that Sonic was the true King Arthur of this world, and Percival, along with Gawain and Lancelot, bowed before the blue hedgehog went back to his own world.
AppearancePercival's natural features are almost identical to that of Blaze the Cat; same lavender fur, white muzzle, and light peach ears. However, her eyes are yellow, opposed to amber.
Her armour consists of a gray and purple metal visor with sky blue gem on forehead and a gray coat-like torso metal torso armor with golden hemline that matches her hair tie. She wears metal gauntlets and lower leg metal armour both a dull shade of silver. Her footwear is a pair of metal-plated gray high heeled shoes with dark pink toe caps, similar to her counterparts'. Also like Blaze, white tights and a violet shirt are part of her attire.
SkillsAs a member of the Knights of the Round Table, Percival is a master of swordsmanship. In battle, Percival specializes in fast-paced and precise swordplay, using fast and elegant swipes and direct multiple jabs, along with forward thrusts to pierce opponents. Also, like her alternate reality counterpart, Percival possesses the power of pyrokinesis, the ability to create and control fire in however way she wishes, which is referred to as her royal powers. With this ability, Percival can conjure up intense flames at any place on or all over her body, allowing her to increase her attack power, burn her opponent, or envelope herself in a cloak of flames. She can also channel her flames into her choice of sword, allowing her to fire bullets of fire from her sword, or create streaks of flames by swinging her sword around.
Percival can also run at super speed and is able to keep up with even Lancelot, who has been remarked to be as quick as Sonic. She is likewise very acrobatic, being able to perform both swordplay and tricks while in midair, and run along vertical surfaces without losing her footing. She also possesses sharp reflexes, high enough to react precisely to incoming obstacles while running at high speed.
Therefore, by using her pyrokinesis in conjunction with her swordsmanship, Percival can create a devastating style of swordplay that combines her fast and precise attacks with the destructive power of fire, including the flames of Kilekion.
